2025-2026 Season
Chamber Reflections
Painting: The Flute Concert by Adolph Menzel, 1852, oil on canvas
Seven Hills Baroque (7HB) is thrilled to announce our 2025–2026 season, Chamber Reflections!
Join us as we explore the rich and diverse history of chamber music through three concerts that capture its fascinating evolution and enduring appeal.
There are few experiences quite as stirring as watching a full symphony in a grand concert hall - but some of the most profound music ever written has also lived in much smaller spaces: living rooms, chapels, and salons where friends gathered to play, listen, and share in music and conversation. This is the world of chamber music, a genre built on dialogue, trust, and the simple joy of making music together.
Each musical part has a voice of its own, yet none exists in isolation. The vast repertoire of chamber music also allows us, today, to take part in a living conversation that has continued across centuries. Come experience the joy of chamber music with us, from the grandeur of Baroque music to early Romantic masterpieces, on original instruments and with sensitive considerations to historical performance practice.
